What does “access” actually change?
Streaming platforms determine which catalog to show by considering the exit network, account details, payment information, content licensing and device status. Regional access generally means presenting an exit location that matches the target catalog. It does not change account ownership or the platform’s own licensing rules.
So “the website opens,” “the account can sign in,” “the target content appears on the home page” and “the video plays normally” are different levels of access. The Difference Between Native IP and Residential IP
Native IP
“Native” usually describes an IP whose registration region, advertised location or network ownership matches the target region. It focuses on how the address appears geographically in public databases and carrier networks. Because platforms use different data sources, the same exit may receive different assessments across platforms.
Residential IP
“Residential” usually describes an address whose ownership characteristics are closer to a home broadband network. It does not automatically grant access to a platform’s content, nor does it guarantee a faster route. Playback still depends on routing, exit congestion, platform detection and account conditions.
These terms answer different questions: native IP is mainly about regional ownership, while residential IP is mainly about network type. Do not choose based on the label alone. If the route panel does not clearly identify an IP type, do not infer it from the route name. The most reliable method is to connect, clear old sessions, reopen the platform and complete a playback test with the target title.

How Much Bandwidth Do 4K and Dolby Vision Need?
High-quality playback needs sustained, stable throughput with limited fluctuation—not a peak reading from a single speed test. Encoding, scene complexity, audio tracks, device capability and network congestion all affect actual demand, so one speed-test result is not enough.
Sustained throughput
After playback starts, the buffer should keep growing or remain stable. If throughput drops periodically, a high peak may still be followed by quality reductions, buffering or audio-video interruptions. Run the speed test and playback on the same route, device and roughly the same schedule.
Jitter and packet loss
Jitter makes data arrive at uneven intervals. The player needs a larger buffer to absorb fluctuations, and seeking is more likely to pause. If standard quality is stable but 4K repeatedly drops resolution, consistency is usually more important to investigate than peak speed.
Device and display capability
Dolby Vision requires the platform title, account plan, playback device, display and connection path to meet the necessary conditions together. A route can address network transfer and exit location, but it cannot replace device authorization, display capability or platform-plan requirements.
For a practical test, first pause sync tasks using upload or download bandwidth. Start playback at standard quality and switch to higher quality after the buffer stabilizes. Then watch for frequent resolution drops, audio arriving before video and whether playback recovers quickly after seeking. If issues occur only at a set time, compare other routes in the same region; if every route is slow, check the local network and device connection.
Unlimited devices does not mean shared bandwidth automatically increases when watching on multiple devices. Each playback session uses traffic and throughput. During concurrent use, prioritize route stability and avoid competing background updates, cloud sync and large-file transfers.

Connect to a matching route

Search for the target title
